Hello all,

I have just had a power outage and now for some reason my amplifier will not work. The power light is on, and you can toggle between standby and on (led confirmed). The selector led changes between inputs (Led confirmed)

The issue as i observe it to be There is no display output on the front of the amp, and there is no sound. I have noticed the usual "click" of which i would presume to be the protection disengaging is no longer clicking when it would be expected.

I have removed power for 30 mins at the mains, tried to power on once again, and same results. I have never had this issue with this amp before. I am able to use soldering equipment. I would like to resolve this in a DIY manner. I have no clue where to begin.

Device: Pioneer VSA-E08
Advice for where to start would be amazing

First check is always to confirm all power supply voltages are correct.

Check the fuses, the ICP's (integrated circuit protectors) and the value of all the regulated and unregulated supplies.

This is a very complex unit and fault finding may be difficult depending on your experience.
