Would it be worth your while to build the convertor? I know the boxes are $$$ because we have a lot of SDI convertors at work. But there is some cheap stuff out of China that works OK. Mostly is goes from HDMI to HDSDI, but there is some YUV to SDI stuff around. Check eBay.

I don't think I've ever seen that. Just YUV to SDI, since they are the same color space. Woudn't the RGBHV would need to be converted to the YUV color space before it became SDI. So maybe 2 chips?
Yes so were right, but was looking for the "one chip" solution, I suppose it doesn't exist.
What about YUV to SDI then, any recommendations?
