I was confused when I saw the "Deal of the Day" today at Parts Express. Looked like more of a joke than a "deal".
Here's a quote from the product page: "If you can settle for less, this cable is not for you. Only those demanding perfection need apply." If you use your bablefish to translate you get "only the fool who is easily parted from his money need to buy" $99 for a 3m cable is simply not reasonable, and the fact that that's the "sale" price makes it even worse. I am ashamed of Parts Express for selling this sort of snake oil "super cable" - a "premium" price for a high quality cable, let's say, about $30, would still be a healthy retail markup over the production cost. ![]() |

Dare I say it makes the Mon$ter Cable stuff on clearance at Radio $hack seem reasonable?
