This any good for measuring loudspeaker coil inductance and/or crossover inductors?

Hi all,

My electronic test equipment collecting dad has acquired one of these:

Is it safe (and accurate) to measure speaker voice coil inductance with?

Can I reliably use it to wind custom inductors for making crossovers with?

Should do reasonably well. To check its accuracy, either have it calibrated, or compare the reading with known value inductors, at least one per range.
