Default ASUS Xonar DX soundcard for $60 -> Wow!

I recently bought an old ASUS Xonar DX soundcard for $60. The quality is really incredible. It is close to the quality of expensive audio measurment systems.
It actually has only 2 small errors: At 192 kHz sampling the frequency response is slightly bent and at 3 kHz is has a small harmonic. Otherwise, everything is perfect!

THD : 0.00071 %
THD+N: 0.00084 %

I have attached some Rightmark tests.

I had a such card before some years, but was not happy with the quality. Lot of details are lost, an average presentation. Forgettable...

Yes, they're very good for the money. Used one for years. Blew one up (don't ask) and immediately bought another. Once in a blue moon I get a driver issue (or stuck relay), nothing a reboot can't fix. Trouble is they haven't made them for years but there seems to be a good few on evilbay.

DX is not bad as measuring device (I had it). Don't know anithing about the sound - I don't have good setup.

Yes, "they're very good for the money". If you have a cheap / medium system you could be happy with it. But NOT proper for a really good audio setup.
