Soldering iron

I have just purchased a Muffsy headamp kit from Sweden. Per the construction video I noticed that they use a HAKKO FX888 soldering station [120*F to 899*F]. It costs $96 on ebay but I cannot afford it. I have a Weller WP25 iron and a Weller soldering gun - 90/125W.

I am not a soldering expert so I need recommendations on which one to use.

I've built many tube amps with a Weller 25W pencil iron. You'd be fine to use it on an opamp board/kit. Just make sure you have a fresh tip to make your life easier

used a 25 or 30 watt iron for decades, still use one for some things even though I finally bought a hakko fx880, the nice thing about the hakko is it heats up really fast and never gets too hot.
