I bought a pair of oscilloscope probes on Ebay from China.
They come with a hooking tip attached. How do I remove the hooking tip ? ![]() I didn't want to use any force, since if I break it, I must wait 3-4 weeks for another probe from China. |

The plastic ends normally pull off but at that price, it may be moulded.
I use Hameg probes. They are exceptional but expensive.

Really old Tek grey probes unscrewed. Had all kinds of options that would screw on ends.

My genuine Agilent probes are a bit crappy with regard to the hook tips, they keep falling off. It's gets annoying at quite an alarming speed.
