I’ve been loaned a US Army (surplus) Signal Corps Tube Tester 1-177-B made by Tripplet Electric and a Tube Socket Adaptor Kit MX/949A/U. Unfortunately the lendor can’t find the instruction manual at the moment.
My power amp has gone, and I’d like to test my Sovtek KT88’s. Does anyone know of a simple method of doing this using this machine. Its 120 volts and I will have to use a transformer, being in the UK.
