I am looking to test the frequency response of a monitor speaker that I have built, however I do not have an SPL/dB meter. I do have a flat frequency response microphone that I can use to acquire measurements and an interface.
I am considering using Audacity to produce a range of test tones and recording the results between each tone to produce a response graph. As Audacity works on the EBU scale would it be possible to convert the dB value I get from Audacity to an SPL value?
Or does anybody know of any other software that I could use to measure the SPL level?
