You can float the output and use two resistors to create a center tap. Works fine in my experience. The OP07 is in the AGC handling DC and should have little influence on distortion since is away from the sine circuit. The analog multipliers and the Jfets are the bigger issue. I use the LME 49xx which work great and are well matched to the impedances. They also have better DC stability than the original parts.

The oscillator is good and has exceptional flatness and level/frequency accuracy. Its not the lowest distortion however.

To connect to a balanced/differential load go from the center of each BNC to pins 2 and 3 of an xlr. Tie two well matched resistors, even 10K works well, one between 1 and 2 and one between 1 and 3. This will get you the best balance.

There was a fair amount of Dymec stuff in the surplus dealers in the 1980s in the bay area. I think mostly power supplies.
