The price for silver LL1931 (stereo pair) is an additional $850 for the kit & $1050 if purchasing just the xformers. Not sure why it is $200 more if purchasing the bare xformers, but that is what K&K has listed on the website. Kevin can be reached at kevinc927@bellsouth.net and like Victor, good at responding if you wish to ask him.

Feedback from CO
The SV EQ1616D is now singing beautiful music.

I listened to it for 5 days already. These are what i immediately noticed : separation of instruments is fantastic, the soundstage is wide and deep, vocals are lifelike and imaging is holographic.

Tubes installed: NOS Sylvania 12AX7, NOS Mullard CV4024(12AT7), Toshiba 5AR4.

Hi Victor, All, what's the difficulty level of this kit? I've built the TU-8800 and looking for a phono stage. Also, by contrast, would like to try a project that involved point-to-point wiring.

Thanks!

Building Point to Point amp is just like painting your masterpiece.

Only the amplification part is PCB. As long as you are following the photos and instructions to assemble your amp you should be good
Please take time to arrange the components

Hi Victor,

Definitely considering it (along with one of the Lundahl transformer options).

Thanks for the encouragement.
