I am a fellow TU-8200DX owner and love it... what are the advantages of the 8800 over the 8200? More power and more flexibility for power tube choices? Is the sound signature any different?

Victor I am glad to see you will be bringing this amp to Capital Audiofest, I will see you there and look forward to hearing it!

The output Transformer is double the size of TU-8200. TU-8800 has a third winding to lower the NFB.

Any updates on when the kit ships? It's already mid October. I have some time off next week and would love to be assembling one of these.
