ELEKIT TU-8800 SET AMP

I am a fellow TU-8200DX owner and love it... what are the advantages of the 8800 over the 8200? More power and more flexibility for power tube choices? Is the sound signature any different?

Victor I am glad to see you will be bringing this amp to Capital Audiofest, I will see you there and look forward to hearing it!

Yes.. I will demo in Capital AudioFest..
The output Transformer is double the size of TU-8200. TU-8800 has a third winding to lower the NFB.

Mono

I'd love to see something in the 20W zone in mono. For some speakers it would be very nice to have a little more room.

BTW Hannah in enjoying the 8600 I built.

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum but I'm very interested in this amp because I'll have a lot of the tubes that this amp use, pretty soon.

I will have Marconi KT66 smoke glass, Philips Miniwatts KT66 clear glass, GEC KT66 clear glass, GEC KT77, Brimar 6L6GA, 6L6G black glass, Philips Miniwatt DD and OO getters EL34 and 6CA7, GEC KT88.

I'm also interested in using 12AU7 as driver.

So this amp is a perfect fit. :)

Hope it's available for sale in Australia soon.

Cheers
UT
