Default My TU8600 has degrading sound.

Hi all,

I brought a 2nd-hand TU-8600 a few months ago. It has a pair of Psavne 300Bs and Golden lion pre-amp tubes. It sounded very sweet. Recently, its sound degrades after it is turned on for a few minutes. It becomes muddy. Do you guys have any idea what happens? Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Ken

Please note that Ken purchased a second hand unit and may not be familiar with the circuit.

Could a 8600 owner/builder please send him the part number and the position on the PCB, and also what exactly needs to be checked..?

It is easier to ship the main board to ELEKIT to check for you.
or if you can do it by yourself, I can walk you thru via what-apps.
