I've had one of these sitting in my inventory for a couple of months now, waiting to put it in the BA-3 preamp.

But I can't for the life of me work out the wiring connections. I know a couple of others are using these... can you point me in the right direction?

It's one of these:

As far i can make out, these appear to be the only previously connected terminals on the fourth image.

I had the same problem with a set of new 25K Mono attenuators I purchased from Super-market8 on eBay.

I couldn’t find documentation anywhere in any of their listings even though I thought there was an illustration posted when I first bought them several years ago.

I wanted to use them recently and also saw the images posted above, but they seemed to be different enough to make me scratch my head and I gave up out of frustration and used some pots I had on hand instead.

I recently sent the seller a message. I’ll post up if I receive anything back.

Pic of my version below.

Hydovac , you probably deciphered this by now, but anyways, my curiosity
was piqued. Found quite a few useful links which I thought will collate here
for future reference -

Kikitronic -- DIY Audio Kits: Dale 23 Steps Attenuator

Different types here: 1st pc it's a series & 2n pic it's a shunt.

Series is summing the resistor value of each step: for example if you are using step 6 you have the total value of 6 resistors. Input is the first resistor & last resistor output is ground, so source sees always the total impedance of all 23 resistors if the stepped attenuator have these steps.

Shunt is only one resistor each step, so the source doesn't see always the same impedance.
