Hi Everyone,

I have bought a UTS for a MGL DAC. The UTS works properly with the supplied Telsa ECC 88. But a Siemens CCa burnt in 40 seconds. Is special precaution necessary in the choice of a NOS tube for the UTS?

Thanks for any advice!

Ran a CCa in mine for months without problems. Also used 6922s and 6DJ8s without issue.

Thanks, Pawlus.

In fact, the culprit was te tube. There was a fissure between the pins. It was difficult to see it.

The UTS runs very well with an Amperex 6DJ8 or a Telefunken E88CC.

Is the UTS kit/pcb still available?

I want to try one with my TDA1541 but can not find it listed in the web shop

Posted a note on the companies web site but received no reply.

Default More gain

I use Dual wm8741 and use the UTS. The gain is smaller than the opamp output. Is there anyway to increase the gain?

You can increase the gain from 6-12db by changing the jumpers.
Can't find the original uts manual but this link shows how to change from 6-12db gain : http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/EZ_Line...Line-Stage.pdf

The manual to set gain appears applicable when the UTS is used as a line amplifier. It is not in my case.

I also understand that the jumpers could be used to adjust gain. I simply do not which jumpers should do.

Attached please find the UTS manual.
