There are pulleys on the underside the mech and several gears/moving parts on the top side.

I usually put one small drop of sewing machine oil on the motor spindles. Be careful not to get any oil on the belts.

Enjoy it for a bit and then upgrade the horrible ceramic bit decoupling caps around the TDA1541 (the 14 small blue radial ones).

Replace these with 100nF or 200nF Wima MKS metalised polyester film.

You'll be glad you did!

yes it is a lubricating issue now its works better but the rod side is still little sticky

Hi Mike how is that would change the sounds what is the different will be?

Also how would you mod the sony cdp-707 player?
