Default Need Help Restoring S/PDIF Output in Philips CD880

I bought an NOS module for my CD880. This module replaces the SAA7220 digital filter. Unfortunately it also eliminates the output from the digital filter to the S/PDIF connector which means I no longer have the option of using an external DAC.

I am not very knowledgeable and am hoping someone can help me re-enable the S/PDIF output without the SAA7220. I believe that the signal (DAAB) into the SAA7220 came from the SAA7210 decoder chip. Is there away to take that signal from the SAA7210 and send it directly to the S/PDIF output connector?
