Denon DCD-2560 noisy spindle motor

I recommended Dexron ATF because it contains dissolved bronze in order to prevent erosion of AT brass/bronze internal parts, also sintered bronze bearings.
I used it for 35 years servicing audio/video gear in motors, capstans, mechanisms etc and never had any problems with it.
Dexron is also good for softening and removing seized grease in BSR turntables !.
Sewing machine oil is designed to evaporate and leaves a gum behing....causes seizing of small motors !..
The turbine oil sounds to be good also.

I wasn't aware of this. I'll try some Dexron ATF next time I'm lubricating sintered bronze bearings.

For many years I've used the "Zoom Spout Oiler" (aka "turbine oil") for small motors with sintered bronze bearings. It always worked well.
