Default Problem with my revox B126 cd player no eject.....

I have a revox B126 cd player...when I press load...ie eject the tray wont eject...taking it apart i manually eject the tray with my fingers .i put a cd into the tray and press load and it goes back in...some how there seems a plastic rubing noise and i notice the top plastic piece at the top is rubbingg.when pulled up a little it starts to read the cd ...and plays..it wont eject the cd when load is pressed....ive replaced all caps on psu right hand board...what could the problem be?so to summarize it takes the cd in..it wont eject and it reads plays a cd when top plastic is pulled up slightly..thankyou for reading simon

I'm not familiar with the player but 'rubbing noises' and having to give it a little helping hand to load and unload suggest maybe a loading belt is slipping somewhere. Most players use one or more in some or another.

You will need to study the circuit details in that case, however have you checked to see if there is any voltage across the motor. Motors can become lazy and suffer with dead spots. Also there may be a circuit protector (like a fuse) or some safety resistor that has gone open to protect the drive circuitry if the motor draws/drew excess current.

You need the circuit
