I have a question about D-A converters. I recently subscribed to Tidal to stream hi res music. I must admit it sounds descent. My question is if I can control the volume with the software then the digital stream must be converted by my phone to analogue and then coverted back to digital to my amp and then the amp reconverts it back to analogue so you can listnen. If this is the case what is the point of having equipment with state of the art D-A converter in my amp. Thanks Daryl
