What Chip is inside these 2 Digital (Toslink+Coaxial) to Analog (2RCA) Converters?

If you search eBay for Digital SPDIF to Analog,
2 results that repeat themselves quite a lot are these:


The first:
Outputs 2 RCA (without 3.5mm):

The second:
Outputs 2 RCA and a 3.5mm:

As can be seen, those 2 models are pretty similar,
the only (external) difference is that the first is a little bit smaller, and without 3.5mm,
and the second is slightly wider, and has 3.5mm in addition to 2 RCA.


Does anyone here have them, and know what Chip is inside?

Also I would like to ask if there's a difference in the chip between the first and second model..
The reason I ask this, is because the second model (with 3.5mm) is about 10$,
while the one without the 3.5mm is aprox. 4$..

I assume this difference is not due to the cost of a 3.5mm socket.. :)
So there's a high chance that there's a difference in the chip inside..

The price difference could be the extra circuitry for the amplifier circuit for the headphones and jack, as well as the larger case.
Interesting.
They did not specify that the 3.5mm socket with the headphones symbol beneath it, is a headphones amplifier out.
My guess is that it's simply a Line Out, similar to the 2RCA aside it..

But it might indeed be with a headphones amplifier..
 
second one uses DAC CS4344, SPDIF converter which i forget, but something standard and very easy to find in google, usually used together with this DAC, and unknown op-amp. there is a schematic easy to find using google. on op-amp output there are only some not so good series capacitors with probably wrong values. very easy to replace them, add 2 resistors to create high pass filter and another 2 stopper resistors. in original didn't sound good when connected directly to amplifier (completely wrong output). with simple rework sounded much better. well, not audiophile, but really very good for its price.
in original RCA and phone out are just in parallel, as probably can be seen on pictures. if my memory serves me well, 'suitable' for headphones in 600 ohm range because of output caps.
