CD in - reads it - shuts down ...

Thanks - haven`t really found the fault in there .
It seems the second it starts playing ( Display Shows 00:00:01) it looses the "will" - power to do so -and stops ...

The display shows 00.00.01 starting but it looses the"will" to go on.
It dims down and the player stops

What model, one of the above?
Open the lid and first (carefully) check PSU voltages, then cables between CD drive and PCB.
Be aware of lethal voltages near/on mains switch and transformer.
