I can tell from my own recent experience that some red light does not necessarily indicate the laser is good. Maybe the fastest way to find out is really to install a new laser.

Can't thank you enough for the .pdf's. I found an "all in one" esoteric_p10.pdf with the belt I needed, and was able to replace it with an o-ring. I'll see if I can order the part on Page 28, part #52.
