I bought a player PHILIPS 963 ! Ideal condition !

Reads all discs! Dvd- good!!! cd good!!!

no analog sound - SACD --- silence!

on the screen that the disc is playing - but there is no sound!

switching multichannel or stereo does not give a result!

Tell me what could be the problem?

Did you try both the stereo and multichannel analogue outputs?

IIRC you should always use the multichannel outputs, they are connected to the better DAC.

The digital outputs do not give signal in SACD mode by design.

I have a power supply that was upgraded with blackgate caps and a mainboard that was upgraded with triple stacked DAC chips, 2x BB OPA627AU on an soic adapter on the stereo outputs and well as Nichicon Muse caps replaced many or the stock caps and Blackgate NX caps on the stereo outputs. The BB chips require their own 9V dual rail PSU. I can include what I was using. PM me if interested
