Hello to all,
Could I use the M52103FP RF-Amp (mounted directly on KSS-240A lasers and probably many others) instead of the older CX20109 RF-Amp,
The aim is to mount the M52103FP directly under the laser ( KSS-123A ) in order to shorten the current signal paths and have a probably cleaner RF-Signal.
It would be not a total replacement, because the RF-signal would be then fed into pin No.2 of CX20109 to create the final EFM Signal.
Is this possible?
All the best,
Salar

original kss240 uses integrated PDIC+RF amplifier in chip
??????????? : KSS-240A (ONKYO CR-185???)
china fakes uses most likely KSS213 + CXA1821M

if you are serious you need to do major overhaul
kss123 uses on board only photo-diode matrix

From Mitsubishi's M52103FP (OPIC include buffer OP-Amps) there isn't datasheet online. But there are a lot of other OPIC's (see attachement).
Perhaps one of this types is suited for your requirement.
