I just got a Meridian MCD, and was really looking forward to enjoying it, but it looks like it's got a few issues. It's mechanical elements seem to be working fine, but the sound is distorting a lot in the middle frequencies. My first impression was that the vocals had disappeared, but upon turning the volume up a little, it seems that they're still present, but very distorted.
I'm fairly green to this whole world of audio, and was hoping someone here could help. Is this a fixable problem, or a hopeless cause?
