DEQ 2496 Remote Controll (under construction by myself)

Hello
I noticed a lot of topics on the DEQ2496.

Well I'm programming a PC program to control your DEQ2496.

It is stil under construction but it seems to be working fine.
The bits and pieces that I put into it, that is.

Full coverage of the DEQ, 95% of the I/O settings and the Bypass modules. And one real fun option a screen dump of the DEQ wich is copied to the clipboard.

It's suppost to be working Bidirectional, changes on the DEQ are noticed by the program and vice versa.
With one button you can copy the DEQ values to the program.

The latest version should run under win8 64bit

I would like some feedback on it's fuctionality.

Greetings,
Simon aka Seoman

Hmm Nobody any comment?

Well i'm holding strong :)

New release.
Slidely different layout and definitly a diffrent core.

RTA & Meter Page is finished
Delay Page done.
The Delay page has a real advantages
The resolution is 15000 steps!
the precicion is 0.02 millisecs instead of 2ms on the UC itself.
I wish my DTS processor had that precicion. :(
But also a numeric value input. (ms only)

I'm sure people has read/downloaded it.
But it's very hard to test it's functionality.
I think its logical but maybe it isn't.

Yeah a webpage!
But all my available time goes into the programming.

A site will come shortly after I burned all my programming energy ;)

Your remark on version numbers, is noted.
But this way all links point to the most updated file (and only).
If that website is launched, that versioning could be an option.
Now there are 3 boards that i have to update instead of a website and just hope people check the website.

There is one major issue that bothers me.
It's not possible to control the autoeq functions.
Or the LOCKmodule function.

PS I have added a "screendump save as" gif image button.

Help

Guys (and girls)
I need some help!

How do i calculate the effects of a Parametric filter.
I want to display the effects of the entered values.
After a day of searching i haven't found any useable formula.
All I can find are formulas to do the real filtering, but i only need the frequency responce.

There are 600 frequencies to calculate!
The resolution is of the PEQ seems to be 1/60 octave.

The formula preferably would contain Gain, Bandwidth and Fc and ofcourse the actual frequency. Resulting in a Gain (db).

I'm a total disaster in mathmatics, so please help me out

Regards, Simon

@ Steff
I could not pass to any file without paying :(

@ all
The old file has expired! Due to a demo version of delphi
This is the new version DEQ2496RemoteNew.rar

i'm working on a graphical layer to make it look less dull.

The new page "UTIL" is the same as the GEQpage.
But works only in Controlchange mode (direct).
Pressing the right mouse button will reset a fader.
And pressing the ALT button will enable you to draw curves.
(don't press any mouse key)

Greetings

Simon

DEQ-2496 Remote

Ha!
just saw this thread
I am doing similar thing in VB6.0
Attached screen dump of work so far (using MIDI-OX as COM interface)

Very Impressed with DEQ2496, have one in the car as an A/D converter, soon getting DCX2496 for active crossover

I wanted to be able to 'tune' the car without getting in/out all the time
