I can write a custom firmware to control 2 DSC module with one controller.
That sounds wonderful.. I stlll wonder if I can use one complete STAR Pure DAC and one CT7302PL with my existing DSC2 and the timing then will be fine?

Can all the dac's functions be controlled from the front panel as I don't want another remote if possible?

Come to think about the timing. It is not an issue at all after all. I use Audiolense to do the x-over and it can handle the timing, no matter if it comes from different delays in DACīs or from different distances to the speakers. Actually I think I could use a USB to I2S multichannel board and CT7302-DSC2 for the main speakers and a normal DAC for the subs...

Hmmm...I just finished building my DSC 2.6 and now you guys come up with something better....which even solves the Hardcore PC machine needed for HQplayer...some questions:

- Will there be a pcb version, ideally where the tough components like Microchips are pre installed, but where one can put his own flipflops and resistors (from my 2.6 project, where i got the original old Philips stuff Pavel suggested and the tant. resistor for 130 Euro in place) ...or will this all be open source again ?

- are you guys considering a "2.6" version ? So either where you could integrate the PCM to DSD converter in a regular 2.6 or using your board and have a pcb which can take the BBB on board like Pavel did it in 2.6 ?

- Looking for the GB, will be onboard for sure...i like the enclosure...will you offer this as an option ?

My question is, will there be a PCB or kit with just I2S in and DSD out, so one can use whatever generation of the DCS one have?

flipflops, with my testing and Andrea's test, THD increased, making the noise even more,
Good resistors are good options, I am using Vishat MMA2004 for all.

I will try to do this next time, please wait

Great idea Koldby .I have a dsc1 which I love the sound of but an input board based on this design would save me a lot of money.

Dito....plus it would be super cool if the BBB of the 2.6 can be integrated, solike an board or adapter which you can put inbetween the BBB and the DSC board itself...
