Has anyone compare these two minidsp products -
C-DSP 6x8 miniDSP C-DSP6x8 Car Audio Processor
4x10HD miniDSP in a BOX : miniDSP 4x10 Hd
Will be used for crossover and room eq duties on 4way active TMWW speaker project with two Rotel RMB1066 amps (150W for the woofers, 60W for the mids and 60W for the tweeters).
Both seem to have the same processor but the 6x8 plugin is limited to 48KHz whereas the 4x10 will do 96KHz and looking at some models of my project 24db slope (4th order) crossovers and approx 2-3 parametric filters (remove peaks/troughs) on the output will give anechoic flat response and a couple on the input will sort out room resonance. Delay is not a problem as stereo / no subwoofer just driver baffle alignment.
So, anyone compared these two for sound/hiss/distortion etc. and does the 48 / 96 plugin make any difference?
