Default Allo Boss DAC 1.2 + Isolator 1.3

Looking for a bit of help with my Pi3+ Boss 1.2 + Isolator 1.3

I would like to power the Pi and Boss DAC with LPSU separately and wanted to know if I Power the Pi via USB and the boss via USB do I need to remove any jumpers. There is one on the boss DAC and one on the isolator but not sure if these should be left in place.

Also would it be best to add power via the Isolator to power the Pi or power the Pi to add power to the isolator.

If anyone can help me with the best way to configure these set ups I would much appreciate it.
