I need to add a high pass filter to my diy sub because it's making funny noises due to over excursion. I've had the sub for two years and have finally took the time to look closer at the graphs on WinISD and I found that a high pass filter with certain parameters will do the trick. Question is, is there a cheaper way to do it other than buying a miniDSP 2x4?

Or find a record player rumble filter circuit and build something similar.
I do believe however that DSP based filtering is the way forward for many reasons, mainly the ability to tweak the frequency and Q for the equipment and space at hand.
