I'm working on the second MAJOR repair on my Geek Out v2+ and I've hit a dead end.
The balanced headphone jack socket (which takes TRRS plugs) has gone out. I'm trying to rewire it manually. Per the attached picture, I can get clean & clear audio by connecting athe lead on arrow 1 with either arrow 2 or 3, covering the right channel. What should I, connect to get the left channel? Any ideas?
The area below the arrow 1 got partially destroyed when removing the old socket, and got worse when I tried soldering in a lead, then unsoldering when it, didn't work, but I can still find the electrical connection even though I can't see it
