I2S with Behringer Ultramatch SRC2496

I am in need for reliable input and output with I2S.

I have a Behringer Ultramatch SRC2496. This device has inputs and outputs with S/PDIF. Behringer: ULTRAMATCH PRO SRC2496

Is it possible to have input and/or output connections in(with) I2S on a SRC2496 ? How ? Where ? Are there pins for I2S ? Does I2S need modifications ?

Please let me have your advices.

I2S is a chip to chip protocol.
It is not meant to be used as a box to box
transmission/reception protocol.
Non the less, people sometimes do go to the
effort to determine the impedance of the gates on the IC
and match them to a co-ax cable to go from box to box.

But looking at this
