DAC 2496 (AK4393) DAC KIT With CS8416+AK4393+5532

Just finished building the kit. Mostly used components in hand. No special components used. Measured responses attached. 20kHz low pass filter is used.

Any recommendations for further measurements?

The right channel has slightly more distortion+N than Left channel. I think it is due to more noise in the right channel.

Listening preference: I still prefer my DIY TDA1541 DAC.

Sorry to hijacking this thread, don't want to start new one.
Question is simple: I have an old dac9 ak4399 by Weiliang, which is collecting dust on my shelf. I want to get back to diy, and questioning myself whether I should upgrade this dac to something newer and possibly do more diy or keep using this one.
I am planning to connect it to Moode via Rpi.

Thank you

Hi Guys..... This particular layout exists in 3 versions.... AK4393, AK4396 & Cirrus Logic CS4398. The CS4398 version sounds far superior to the AK´s.
Some years ago I built dac´s for 4 friends. They all had the opportunity to listen to all 3 versions, and they all without hesitation preferred the Cirrus Logic :)

Hi Guys
If anyone is reading this a little advice pls. I've build this kit & it works but I've encountered a strange problem. When signal from source is locked at times there's no sound, I have to power off dac & power up again to get sound & at times I have to do it 2-3 times. Anyone ever encountered this & is there a solution ?

Thks

Pardon for hijacking thread but I need some help with on off switch wiring for (another) dac.
Would you please help me?
Thank you

I've been trying to find the right way use this dac without the opamp output filter. My preamp will be mounted in the same enclosure, and it already has 2 opamp stages.

I read a bunch of different things, so I hope someone could explain me how to use the output from the chip directly. How do I go from balanced output of the chip to unbalanced?
What value output capacitors would be recommended? The DAC output wire runs directly to a preamp mounted in the same chassis, no more then 5cm wire length
