I had to buy a new XO for my XO3 recently because I changed my cd player...Didn't know I'd have to find all by myself, especially for the SPDIF connections.
1) Don't expect support from Tentlabs: sent many emails...no reply.
2) On the "XO23mounting" document...
...You must refer to the pcb diagram for SPDIF in and out, not on coloured wires (mine were at the wrong places).
...The pin # indicated for the SPDIF on my YM7121 was wrong in my case (nothing was connected there). So I started from the "digital out" in my CDP to the buffer and found the input of a 74HC00A. There it's the good signal path (goes to YM7121 and TTL).
...Found another wrong reference: the pin#45 indicated for SPDIF on the LC78622E is a "clock in".
So be careful!
