Case Prototype

I made another prototype out of cardboard - I must say I am very pleased with it: Folded in two places and the sides are folded down as well. I still have to figure out how to put in the back plate. This can be built quickly out of metal. See if you can figure how it is made.

For my Pete Millett's "Engineers Amp 50W Monoblock" I ordered the chassis from Landfall Systems. Here are some snaps of how the sides come together. While its a forged channel, some of the same techniques could be applied with an L-channel.

Wow that is some heavy metal. Or does that mean something else, very sturdy and neat and easy to put together I guess. Waiting to see your finished product.
