Default Preamp and amp in same case, bad idea?

Im building an amplifier using ICE power 500ASP+500A preamplified with a Nutube B1. I was thinking on having all in the same case, would this impact negatively?

Attached is my layout

Well arent integrated amplifiers essentially this? just keep that transformer the further away from the other components you can.

That ICE module is a combination power amp and SMPS, there is no transformer.

But I do agree, this is what integrated amps, stereo receivers have been for decades. In pro audio, we have instrument amps with preamp and ICE power amp in one unit.

well thats a fair point from you both. ICE module still gave a transformer in it, should I try to get it as far as possible or it shouldnt matter

Short answer, it doesn´t matter.

Unless you place your sensitive preamp input half inch above the ICE Power switching supply area, that is.
