Not sure if it's the right forum, but sounds like it is.

A very noob question but I did not see clear responses for that in a single summary place.

While looking at the pictures of builds, it appeared that some capacitors, resistors, etc. are soldered directly to switches, transformers and so on... likely to avoid artefacts, noises, etc.
Any good advices regarding these settings (what to use, where to use, for what)?

What are you asking? You want to know if it is OK to solder parts directly to switches? Or do you want to know what sorts of part to solder across switches to fight switch noises?

Sorry, thought the question was clear

Would like to know what sorts of parts could be soldered to switches, and also other devices like transformers, in order to fight switchs noises, and in fact any kind of noise. Saw some parts soldered that way while nothing is clearly said in the threads, 'how-to' pdf, etc.
As far as I remember it's possible to solder a small cap on switch to avoid/reduce ON/OFF noises. It's just a single case, was wondering if there are other similar recommended things to do (MOV on transformer inputs to protect the build?).
