Two-way balanced to unbalanced with shared ground

Hi all, newbie here.

I'm designing a circuit to take the balanced audio out from one radio to the unbalanced audio in of another, and vice versa, effectively linking the two radio systems (mic to speaker both ways). I'm using an audio transformer to do this passively, but the problem is I only have 1 ground connection on the balanced side, and the shell is helpfully tied to the same ground connection too. See below.

My question is, how can I wire this without causing feedback or ground loops from the shared ground connection?

Speaker level is typically MUCH higher than Mic level. So you may need resistor pads.

You don't show, or need, any ground on the balalanced side.

With transformers there should be no problem about the common ground on the unbalanced side.

I strongly suggest a pack of clip-leads so you can just try it, and quickly try variations.
