1. If wanting to create a synergy horn with 15" woofers (500-20 000hz), how thick should the walls be to ensure structural integrity and the least distortion due to the woofers making the walls vibrate. I would want to reinforce them so they can withstand very high sound levels (+120db/woofer), so not only Hi-Fi home levels.
I have a horn with 6mm (0,25 inch) walls right now, and I need to decide on how thick I want to make them, or rather: is there a limit? Is there such a thing as too thick horn walls with the synergy? I can imagine having to thick walls creating too long ports which could be a problem.
2. Also, where on the horn should I put most effort in the thickening?
3. What kind of material should I use? Someone recommended me Epoxy, another recommended a "leveling mortar for wooden floors"
