I'm restoring an old Hitachi HA-4700 amplifier from the 1980 catalog and it's seen better days.
The case has some pretty heavy corrosion and the powder coating has come away in parts and is quite discoloured.
Does anyone know a good way to match up the original colour, I will probably spray with enamel as powder coating will really drive the cost up for this resto. It kind of looks beige which is strange as the face is silver.
It would also be good to try and match the original powder coat texture if possible... any tips appreciated!
