Swap the cables at the amplifier to see if the problem stays the same.
It does, the right speaker has the hum. It is physically located about 15 feet from the amp and has to cross 2 power lines. This is due to it being near the sub woofer.
Try wrapping the speaker cable in aluminium foil where it crosses the power leads. It is physically located about 15 feet from the amp and has to cross 2 power lines.
Loudspeakers not powered. Are the loudspeaker, powered speakers?
Do you have a powered sub-woofer?
Sub woofer is powered.
Well, I found a big part of it I think. I noticed that one of the RCA input connections was kinda loose so I started to tighten it when I also saw that the ground side of it was not making contact with the chassis.
After I fixed that it improved the 60Hz hum considerably.
I am so thankful to this site that I am going to give a donation in recognition of all the help that I got here.
Thanks again.
