Hi,

I'm about to start my first speaker project - Adelphos by Jeff Bagby.
I'm going to crimp the internal connections and not to solder, I have great ratcheting crimping tool.
I would like know what are the types that preferred for all the connection inside the speaker.
Spades?
Lugs?
Insulated? Non-Insulated?
Brands?
Specific details would be great.

Thanks!

Itamar.

With only a little bit of ingenuity crossovers can fabricated to be accessible enough that soldered connections take not much longer than crimping. Just don’t squeeze parts into “ an efficient spot” that require dental surgeon skills to reach.
I also prefer soldering to crimped - and that predated my being captured in an elliptical orbit around the gravitational mass of Planet10 by several decades.

Several hundred Hafler kit builds in the 70’s - 80s, and a few Bottlehead projects more recently - not a single crimped connection in the lot.
