Default Replacing RCA with BNC

The RCA in question is on an Emotiva ERC2. It is one of the board mount, plastic encapsulated types. The bottom of the connector is well night impossible to access. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this without access to the bottom of the board? Dremel perhaps to cut away the plastic and then solder connections on BNC to lugs coming up out of the board? Any suggestions appreciated, especially by those who have done this. Thanks
