The Lone Star Audio Fest is coming up in two weeks: May 3, 4 and 5 in Dallas, Texas.
It's a low key show with a relaxed atmosphere. Rooms range from DIY to kits to extravagant/expensive. Admission is free.
There are a number of small manufacturers that attend the show. The folks in these rooms are generally the people that have designed the gear so it's a great chance to talk to folks who design and build gear.
It's a great weekend.

Well worth it if you can get there.Hi Pano. You should wander back to the show one of these years to keep John Busch in line. 
John is bringing his updated Widowmakers this year. Danny Richie has a pair of line arrays, Rick Craig has a pair of curved arrays (inspired by DB Keele) and Wayne Parham is bringing his 4 Pi speakers.
There are many other rooms, too, and it's looking like it'll be a good show.
Oh, and beer. There's always beer.
