What's the level of interest for a DIY event in Northeast Ohio?

I'm willing to organize something, find a nice venue, etc. if we could bring in enough visitors and attract a speaker (lecturer) or two. But, I don't have a sense of the general level of interest in such a thing.

UPDATE:

Doh sorry, I just realized this has been proposed previously and interest was pretty light.
