Audio Clubs in North Carolina?

I'm looking for some clubs(or anything of the sort) in North Carolina, preferbly east of Raleigh. I'm on the coast Just looking for some experience dudes to learn from

There may be something in Raleigh area, but I have not seen it.

I started a Carolina Audio mailing list, but it's been almost dead, very little traffic. Seems the Tar Heel audiophiles are all stuck at home.

I would love to participate, but getting enough people together and getting organized ia tough. I have many friends who are into HiFi, but none who are in DIY.

Hi All - I have been looking through this forum in the hopes of finding someone local (28327). I am not electronics literate... but a little "tinkery." I got an old amplifier at an estate sale (POA-2800). It was working. I took it apart to replace a broken rca connector. I did that and blew out excessive dust with compressed air. Put it back together and now the protection circuit is stuck in safe mode. I suspect that whatever help I get will be over my head. That's why I thought I would see if I can find someone who understands electronics in the area. (I work at Ft. Bragg). Anyone close that's up for physically looking at my amp with me?
