Transformer using in UCD400AD

Hello!

I got a transformer that rating 0-42V(5A), "5A" enough or not?? Is it sutiable to use it on UCD400AD?? If not, please give me some advise for the rating of transformer, thanks!

5A rating, is it enough to drive UCD400AD to have 200W/8ohm??
And I also interested in coldamp's SMPS SPS30, what is the performance defferent between SMPS and Linear Power Supply??

Thats what I want to know/hear also. Big plus is size and weight ofcourse. But soundwise.....don't know yet.

5A is enough, they are very efficient.
