I agree with you, I bought an SMPS800RE and two CXD400 and they work really good (until now...) What's the matter, bare?

The 3,5mm, the white pin header and the 3 solder points next to it all seem to be in parallel, so no 2 inputs but 1 input with 3 connections. A simple DPST switch can be used to switch inputs.

I would still suggest tushark9 to bring his subwoofer and try connecting 200 dollar speakers. If there is a big improvement, he may need to build a better sub or maybe basssound is allready good for his room? Is it possible to borrow before buying in India?
